Has anyone worked out how to get the new Flickr photo page to upload directly without having to download to a computer and then upload to blogs from that? It's driving me crackers and I'm sure I shouldn't have to do that.

Don't know if you mean this - but you can "grab" the html code: when seeing your picture there is "actions / share this" below "FLICKR" in the left corner.
ReplyDeleteWhen clicking "share this" and then clicking "grab the HTML" you can copy the html code for your blog. That's the way I do it :-)
Yep, tried that. For some reason this blog doesn't like that code. It's extremely annoying.

ReplyDeleteI've a blogspot blog also, and it does work for me with flickr. I had problems to begin with because I found it easy with the new interface to open the Grab the HTML window and only grab the part of the html that was visible at the time, not realizing that there was more below the fold. The other thing I do is make sure I go into the Edit HTML window in blogger and make sure I have a clean area to paste the picture, since sometimes blogger was putting it inside tags for other things and that wasn't good.
